A good read

Tom Wright's address to the ACC is a good read.

Shipwreck and Kingdom: Acts and the Anglican Communion
closing address to the meeting of the Anglican Consultative CouncilNottingham, 28 June 2005 by the Bishop of Durham, Dr N. T. Wright

After reading it, I was motivated to change the subtitle on this blog.

Jesus is King and Lord!

He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords and Captain of the Heavanly Host. We are engaged in an hourly war for good against evil, salvation over sin and death. The King of Heavan shall triumph over the princes and powers of this world.
This battle line runs through the center of every human heart. We must take the fight to one and all, for all have the possiblity of redemption, if they just make the choice.
Watered down relativism will not do. A war is a hard thing, and the war between heavan and hell calls on all of God's soldiers and servants to sacrifice for the cause.
In Romans, Paul said that we must not conform to the world, but be transformed to the will of God.
He is Lord. Let us praise and serve him in truth, love and courage every day.
