Presiding Bishop Elect preaches about Mother Jesus
“Our mother Jesus gives birth to a new creation and we are his
children. We are going to have to give up fear.”
This can't be correct, can it? Mother Jesus. Perhaps she had a slip of the tongue and meant to say, brother Jesus. Perhaps the microphone wasn't working and the transcriptionist heard mother, but she really said brother. Perhaps the sun will explode today and we will survive it.
If this is the face of The Episcopal Church, Lord have mercy.
