I must confess that I am a bit surprised by the attention that the death of Pope John Paul II is receiving. The MSM is giving it almost 24/7 coverage. They all have representatives in Rome to cover the story. On the other side of the coin are the glowing statements made by many evangelical leaders, who in the not so distant past would have referred to the Pope as the Antichrist.
