12 Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.'
This is a different metaphor to illustrate the same truth. Yesterday, Jesus was the living water. Today, He is the light of the world. Without Him, we are in darkness. With Him, we have the light of life.
In Him there is no darkness at all,
the day and the night are both alike.
The Lamb is the light of the city of God.
Shine in my heart Lord Jesus.
